I would have like to see Andrew McCarthy against stone Farnsworth last night but that didn't happen Farnsworth didn't dress that would have been a good match anyone know why?

Moniz's runaround the mat at the end could have cost him a point too

Only reason I could think is so farnsworth can keep the 2 seed but that still doesn’t make sense since they’re on the same side of the bracket

But you should know I don’t do seedings or predictions, just a sum of results that happen in season. Mason Furtado lost to Reid out of weight otherwise he hasn’t lost. I’ll fix the 126 weight. And also it’s tough to give reason as to why Eneas “should” be higher, I think he’s a beast. But most of his matches aren’t posted anywhere and CE doesn’t go to many tournaments so his state medal history and past wins were taken into account. And finally, these don’t really matter at the end of the day. I have fun doing them, the kids seem to like it somewhat haha and it gives a good picture as to what’s going on around the state. But just because he’s ranked 4th doesn’t mean I think he’ll PLACE 4th. Do you get what I’m saying ?

They need to move Frosh/JV states to a new venue, wrestling started at 9:30, and they haven’t even gotten through the JV Semi-finals yet. (Currently 5pm) It would be great to see it at the PCTA with 8 mats running at the same time

A little off. Robbie won 100 lbs. with a pin over Setaro of Lincoln. Mikhail won 106 with a fall over Sabatelli of Toll Gate. Monteiro beat Garcia in the semis then pinned Nicoll of Lincoln in the finals.

The venue is fine, trying to run 2 tournaments at once is the challenge. The parking alone was chaotic all the way around the building. RIIL should be able to determine year to year weather the events can be held simultaneously based on wrestling enrollment.
This has to be an up year by a substantial margin.
By default, certain programs are able to generate "an all for one and one for all" identy and the increased presence of varsity wrestlers there to root for their teammates was noticeable.
In years where enrollment meets a certain threshold, separate the freshmen and JV. That information should be able to be determined by 2nd or 3rd week of the season.
In addition, if female enrollment meets a certain threshold than an additional state tournament needs to added to the mix. NY and PA have a formula that if pre determined thresholds are met, a state sanctioned tournament is required. This is done on a year to year basis. We should do the same.

(Currently 5pm) It would be great to see it at the PCTA with 8 mats running at the same time I agree, but venue change won't solve one of the problems with larger meets. Some weight classes had issues with the rule about the number of matches. Some big brackets this year and some kids weren't able to wrestle in the consi-finals. They need to go to 2 days or limit multiple wrestlers allowed from schools.

RIIL can eliminate match rule at Freshman/JV State. The same kids who couldn't go 7 matches yesterday, can wrestle 8 matches at Sectionals this upcoming week because it's a qualifying tournament for Varsity State.

I haven’t heard about this at all but who’s going to be the D1/1 seed for 145 since Fertado and vital hasn’t wrestled at all?
