"Oh what about that HW from Barrington a few years ago. He didn't win the states but I recall he wrestled with a fractured hand or wrist."
In hind site, the HW from Barrington a few years ago should of listened to his father and not wrestled. Although he only lost one match 1-0 and settled for third place, the 3 broken bones in his wrist healed incorrectly and have caused him pain and loss of range of motion. His only option is to have all three bones re-broken and re-set. Sometimes you can be too tough for your own good!

Any thoughts from states? There were a bunch of great matches / upsets this weekend. I thought some of the best matches of the tournament were Lynch v Celico, Mountain v Hussey, and Rivet v McGill. Also it looks like Peoples proved he should be on the P4P list.

I thought the young v mountain match was unbelievable, love seeing matches where both wrestlers pour out their hearts, that type of determination will pay off in all sorts of life situations

Fenwick if I recall correctly. Was not high school so really not that relevant. Fenwick did recover from shoulder sugary and he wrestled with a fractured hand the season he first won states
