Let's get some chatter going. This is the first rankings of the year. I figure the fairest thing is to simply just rank guys by how they finished in the states last year, and then change it when wrestling starts. Now I know that the majority of the wrestlers won't be in the same weight class again, but I am not going to try and guess who is at which weight. So they will start in their old weight class. I didn't follow the middle school wrestling last year, so I don't know who are the freshman to watch out for. So please let me know. Also if you KNOW (not guessing) what weight a certain wrestler is going this season, let me know. I also apologize if I ranked wrestlers that have already graduated. I think these are the returning wrestlers, but obviously I could be wrong. Here it goes.

Does anyone know results for the weight assessment test? Any wrestlers jumping up like or three weight classes? Any wrestlers jumping down a weight class? I heard duran from sk was going 145 (jumping down two weight classes). I also heard fernette from burr "transferred" to pong. Any other "transfers" we need to know about. Who are the big freshman this year or was last years big freshman class just a once in a while thing. These are tons of things we need to know going into the season. Any big match ups this weekend either at Mt. Hope's tournament or at Wilson Cup?

Thanks guys. If I didn't know that someone graduated for sure, I ranked them. Soto vs McGill would be a really great match. I didn't rank Teves simply because he didn't wrestle in the states last year. No disrespect. He is a great talent. Excited to see him back.

Hope tournament. Talk about traffic jam in division 2 at 145. You have Costa, Tieves, Montero, Jerrell, n Jerez. That's five previous place finishers with out including division 1.

From being at the NK tournament, McGill losing was quite an upset in the finals. Jerez looked dominant as always, as he walked through the tournament. Capaldi from WW looked really tough at 132 with a pin in the finals. SK looked really good from the team standpoint.
