106: Leonard, Barr beat Stephenson TG last year and beat Holland WV for freshman state champ @ 100#. Holland defeated Leonard at Futures this past weekend. Leonard faces Castiliano next week. Williams BH is going to be tough at 106 this year. Gosselin, Burr will win freshman 138 division and has a chance for top 6 at varsity states.
106 Top 6: 1. Williams BH 2. Castigliano Cov 3. Stephenson TG 4. Holland WV 5. Leonard Barr 6. Melgar MP
I don't see any of these wrestlers going undefeated this year.

Does anyone know why Cole didn't wrestle yesterday? I was hoping to see q Cole vs soto finals but Cole not there n soto went 45. I guess its a three headed monster at 38 instead of four - Cole, Brodeur, n Tieves. I also heard Fenwick is an independent now as he now attends classical now does this mean that fenwich will be at rhode island states? If Fenwick is attending Classical, and they do not have a team, he basically will wrestle as an independent representing Classical. He won't wrestle much competition all year, but I still think that he will be the favorite at 220 during the States. Does anyone know who he is practicing with? He needs to hook up with a team that is gong to a few tournaments so he can get some quality wrestling.

i can see fenwich mt hope duane burdick westerly and o'connor from bishop hendricken top 3. i havnt seen bh or mt hope wrestle this year but burdick is looking good, hes currently endefeated. and as far as i know so is o'connor Martino - BH is 220 and nobody has scored a pt on him yet including Long Island and Ct Tourneys - all pins. O'Connor is not back yet and will wrestle off at 195 if he does return.

burdick is also undefeated with zero points scored on him. he also beat martino last year 7-2 . new years bring new things. so fenwich will be wrestling in states ? Here is the quickie on wrestling as an Independant. You can practice with another team, and if you wrestle during their meet, it is only an exhibition, and it basically does not count for anything. It might count for your power rankings for seedings, but I really do not know. You can go to tournaments with that team, and you basically wrestle as an independant representing your school. You have to wrestle in the D2 tournament to get your State seeding. I do not know how you get seeded in the D2 tournament, maybe on past record, and if you wrestle in tournaments, and possibly any exhibition matches you wrestled during th season. If you seed high enough (typically they take the top 8, sometimes more), you will go to the State Tournament. I still think that Fenwick will be the favorite. Enough with the 220's, what about the rest of the weigth classes, and teams overall. I seen that SK got beat again.

Josh Wheeler NP should be ranked at 120.
Just a hunch but I think Teves is way low here.
I know 138 is stacked but Gomez CW is a possible factor.
Soto vs Jerez final at 145 would be crazy.

Andy Melgar should be on there for 106. He beat the Lincoln kid, and lost to Holland in a close 5 to 6 match, by one point. The Holland kid beat the Barrington kid this last weekend in the futures tournament by a bunch of points. Melgar should be at least fourth.

Nice job on rankings, however I believe Peoples will be going 170 and Lundston will be going 160. I have been hearing that. However, Peoples have't wrestled at 170 yet, and Lundston has. Once it changes, the rankings will be changed

Teves might be better than the guys over him, but rankings have to be done on what you have done. Teves missed the majority of the year, last year. While the other guys didn't.
