Let's refocus the banter... Any clear cut state winners in a weight class? Conversely, any predictions of upsets? Don't be surprised if Metcalf from Coventry wins the 152 crown... Also I think the final at 160 will be Francis vs either Almonte/ Jerrell Metcalf is a tough kid with alot of experience for a sophomore but I think Mason Duran is the clear favorite. From what i've seen from Jerrell he can make it a very competitive match with Francis.

Jarrells last tournament he wrestled in he lost to a wrestler that francis beat by 12. You mever know at states though!

Has anyone seen results for Coventry vs Narraganset last night? I'm wondering if Brodeur and McGill wrestled each other. That would have a direct effect on seedings.

Brodeur did not wrestle McGill. He wrestled Westerly & looked like he was hurting & gassed. I'm assuming that's why he decided not to wrestle McGill

Soto beat Brodeur and McGill is there so where to see the brackets b4 states next weekend? It's the first year they are being run on FLO ARENA so I'm not sure. Mass and CT sectionals are running on there now and brackets weren't available until this morning.

Soto beat Brodeur and McGill Ah that is correct had some type of ligit injury and did not wrestle Rivet. Soto D1 #1, Brouder D1 #2, Rivet D1 #3, McGuill D1 #4, I guess.

McGuill did not wrestle Tugas makes it even more complicated. Did any of these results differ at any tournaments in State?

Does anyone know what happened to Batista 120 from Cumberland? He didn't wrestle last meet against an easy Hendricken opponent.

Brooder has 2 losses and lower power points due to injury, he will not be the 2 seed. Soto 1, Rivet 2, McGill 3

Brodeur only wrestled Westerly because it was senior night. due to not being 100% I believe it was decided to not wrestle McGill. Brodeur over Holdrege 5-4 McGill over Holdrege 9-3

I would say bloom is def going 132. He has 4 matches at 126 and 11 at 14. I know techinally he could have weighed in at 126 but i doubt it. He only missed two matches being a state champ covers that (100 bonus power points fall win = 36) nevermind bonus points from being a ne champ.

Any thoughts on kids who might bump away of a stacked weight class last minute to have a better chance at states?? Weight classes like 32 and 38 look stacked, why not go up a weight class to have a better shot? 32 you possibly have bloom, zueller, Stamas, lynch, celico. 38 you got Soto, rivet, McGill, brodeur. 45 - mccarron, Jerez, Teves, monteiro, Swanson. I'm willing to bet we see at least one major bump that blows everyone's mind. Can't just do that. You have to have 50% of your weigh ins during the season to wrestle in that weight class. Between 32 and 38 Zuller is the only one that might have 50% at each weight.
