Good job with those final rankings not much to complain about just one thing at 132 don't be surprised is Gomez makes some noise and upsets some of the top guys I agree! Gomez will definitely be a bracket buster & be on the podium. McCarron has beat Schafer & will beat Monteiro. Fenwick is out. Pelletier will be lucky if he even places & finals 120 Hussy vs Wheeler. OW will be a tough one, I could see it going to 132,138 or 145. All pretty stacked brackets. McGill is a tournament wrestler. I'd like to see Soto vs Mcgill finals. This weekend will be interesting with a lot of upsets. Rivet beat Mcgil this year so I would bet that Rivet will be in the finals, and Wheeler should be in the finals

I see many names of wrestlers that choose to play football and many who choose to wrestle all that time. Could have a bearing on who does better in the deep brackets.

That's a bummer about Pelletier. Reminds me of a kid that fractured his forearm rite before states and pushed thru and won the title. Remember those days........not so long ago.

That's a bummer about Pelletier. Reminds me of a kid that fractured his forearm rite before states and pushed thru and won the title. Remember those days........not so long ago. John Altieri had a serious shoulder injury two years ago and won the states. If you want to go way back (makes me feel old), Kevin Munley won the states with a separated shoulder and Keith Shillin won the states with a fracture in his back, in the same year. I also feel like I am forgetting a really big injury in between those years.

Oh what about that HW from Barrington a few years ago. He didn't win the states but I recall he wrestled with a fractured hand or wrist.

Anyways, I stopped posting my rankings because someone else started posting theirs. I have been doing it for a few years and thought it was fair for someone else to get a chance. Plus I didn't find many issues with those rankings anyways. Some people have reached out to me and asked for me to share some thoughts about the weight class.

Oh what about that HW from Barrington a few years ago. He didn't win the states but I recall he wrestled with a fractured hand or wrist. All great stuff!! Those are the kind of wrestlers that wrestle whoever is put in front of them, whenever, where ever, how ever. The kid I was referring to was in middle school and won states with a fractured forearm, had the rite attitude from day 1.

If I'm not mistaken it sounds like you're referring to Nick Celico, I remember seeing him wrestle that day, kid has a lot of heart
