Heard he is hurt for a little but will be ready for states to make a name for himself, I can see him placing. Do you know that status of Brodeur at 138?

It will be interesting to see what happens this year. No need to resort to name calling.

Let's go back to pound 4 pound for a minute. Why is bloom even in question? He is a returning NEW ENGLAND champ! Another thing, why is Jerez even being mentioned? Who has Jerez faced? Sure he's a good wrestler but he has beat nobody! From what I can see, he has only beat the mass 4 in New England's last year and then lost two in a row. He has never beat a top 3 kid. With that being said... Teves has wrestled tough competition out of state all year long. I see Teves majoring Jerez in the finals if Jerez makes it. Whats your p4p list then

Easy... 1. Bloom 2. Francis 3. Stamas 4. Disano 5. Soto 6. Teves These are p4p the best, show me results that state otherwise. what did teves place last year? Or the year before that? 5th at 106? J celico beat him decisively at that

My prediction: This year will be full of surprises at states, individual and team.
For all the wrestlers out there just know the rankings and talk is a load of stinky excrement.
Nobody had Stamas winning last year. Nobody had Mcgill winning either. Remember that.

According to RIIL Lynch did not weigh in AGAIN bring back DII states. I'm not sure what happened in this case but there have been few matches of consequence in DII all season. I'm sure there have been legit injuries and weight issues on occasion but it's completely out of hand. Look up and down the rankings and D1 guys have been going head-to-head all season.

Too much talk coming from people who just want too see their kids name in the forum.
State your thoughts, but don't forget to say why! Remember in highschool the teacher always wanted you to show your work to get full credit...
P4P 1. Sauro - He won states last year with bruised ribs and would've competed for a NewEngland medal if it wasn't for his injury. 2. Soto - after missing all season last year to a concussion and being forced to bump up to 138 finished 3rd in states and 2-2 in NewEngland. Only loses came to A. Howard. Lemieux a New England champ and last years NH champ who beat Lemieux in the state finals. 3. Stamos - A returning state champ has looked dominant all year! I expect a strong showing from him at NewEnglands. 4. Bloom - Returning NewEngland champ! The only reason Bloom is so low is because of the weight class jump. Love his style love his technique I just don't know if he can keep up with the 132 strength. 5. Lundston - let's just say I expect a big upset at states. I know Francis has the accolades, but he doesn't impress me enough to put him over the sophomore underdog.

By the way, much respect to Blake Stamas. This kid came to wrestle all season and was weighed in and ready to go no matter the opponent. He could have rested on last year's accomplishments but he didn't. He showed what a true champion is about. I will personally be rooting for him to get that second state title. He deserves it.
