Wasn't going to do rankings this year but I haven't seen any serious rankings so far. Here is what I have. Its a little rough (some weight classes aren't fully built out yet) but it is the best I could do with that amount of wrestling we've had so far without having to make guesses to fill out the bottom of certain weights. The base for these rankings was state places last year. Then I took out seniors, and moved kids to appropriate weights according to where they appear to be wrestling this year. Then head to head match ups moved a couple people around, but there hasn't been too much action yet. A few wrestlers who didn't place last year were added to the bottom of some weight class rankings for consistently winning tournaments and duels.
Things of note:
120: Fallon (BH) over Joyce (Pon) based on being a New England Placer (didn't wrestle last year due to injury).
285: Phelps (Char) over returning state champ Hancock (Cumb) by Fall. Previously have never heard of Phelps (didn't place this year) and was unsure about moving him ahead of a returning state champ for one victory. However I didn't really have any justification not to so he is tentatively the #2 at 285. If Phelps starts dropping matches most likely Phelps will be moved down rather than wrestlers jumping both Phelps and Hancock.
If I missed any head to heads or have wrestlers at the wrong weight please let me know as always. Your feedback is more helpful than you think. Finally, if you have any suggestions on how to fill out the bottoms of some of these weight classes please share (with justifications for each wrestler).
Thanks. Here you go:
P4P:
1) Fry 2) Fallon 3) Riggs 4) Clarke 5) Caltagirone 106

It looks like you didn't look at the results from the North Kingstown tournament. Some of the weights for these guys are off, and some of these guys shouldn't be ranked/ranked as high because they were beat at the NK tournament. Look the results up on flo under Wilson cup.
Actually you should look up the results from the North Providence tournament as well. A lot of these rankings are off.

Adolfo Betancur, Heavyweight, BH, beat Phelps 2-0 at the NK tournament yet he is not ranked, these rankings need some revisions.

Adolfo Betancur, Heavyweight, BH, beat Phelps 2-0 at the NK tournament yet he is not ranked, these rankings need some revisions. Fixed 285. Also fixed multiple Hendi kids at the same weight. I missed the NK tournament for these rankings I will update based on the NK results this afternoon. For everyone asking about the NP tournament those results were factored in.

Funkroll: Thanks for your efforts at making and revising rankings this early in the season. It's still a small sample size at this point so we needn't be too concerned with exact rankings yet; there are plenty of changes ahead. I think most of us really appreciate your work.

Marchione put up big against sangare he won 11-3 so I know that there is a lot of weights and wrestlers but Marchione needs to be considered at the 195, also I respect Riggs as a wrestler and in his weight class he is a monster but p4p I not sure any of the upper weights can really contend with the technical knowledge and speed.

I agree with Marchione needing to be ranked but Maroney 138 BH got second at the NK tournament and Sclama 113 BH won the NK tournament and neither are ranked, also didnt Villanova certify at 145?

Stephenson (CW) is at 126 this year and Gomez (CW) is trying to get down to 126 to wrestle off Stephenson for that spot in the lineup.
