Lynch at 120 should be pre-ranked. Pmaved 4th in state last year as a sophomore.

Moved Lynch into 113. He was 106 last season. He may be up at 120 this season but that would definitely make his ranking status unknown due to it being two weights up. We’ll see soon.

Fallon should be pre-ranked #1 from Hendricken at whatever weight he is guessed to be at. My guess is 120. And Greg Grigorian at 195 places 5th last year he was a junior.

Added Grigorian to 195. A previous poster said he graduated so he was taken off the list. He's back in.
As for Sclama, he's going to have to knock off some guys at 113. That's. a pretty stacked weight class unless guys move up and out.
If Fallon is at 120 he's in that ranking. As of right now though all those young men have earned their status from last year's results. I've added Fallon at #4. His stock can rise once the season kicks off.

I believe grigorian majored page at states so he should be at 4 instead of 5. And I may be wrong but I think myers from MH and Jolcimat from NP have graduated as we;l.

Two weights a week, this week we will preview 113 &120 Fry is the favorite 113 even though Gillis and Cook are much improved! Fry went 5-2 @fargo He went 5-0 @ Journeymen Fall Classic He went 4-2 @ super 32 Beating NY state champ Adams, a NJ Placer and losing to nationally ranked Moran 5-3 I think he will be your NE champ this year! To bad Coventry wrestles such a weak tournament schedule that may end up hurting him, but then again he may be quite healthy come the end of the year but I still think he is your NE Champ this year! Gillis is Gritty, Mean and a Gamer and I still have him ranked above Cook at number #2 but I think Cook has gained on him and would not be surprised if Cook upended him at some point his year! Cook went from being a small 106 to being a big 113, the kid is a technician but has a tendency to lose to kids he should beat, it should be interesting, I stand by my top three but I actually think Cook would give Fry a better finals match, but the question is can he get by Gillis. The X factor here is where will Lynch Go? Lynch got big this summer, but the kid cuts, I think he is better off at 126 then 120 or 113 and could win the title there, but I am not sure he can match Passante's strength! If Nick Gomes goes 113 he is my number #5 if he goes 106 he is my #1,Sclama, Stephenson and Felix would round out the weight but I think Sclama and Felix go 106! and Stephenson goes 120 or 132 Gomez is going 126! 113 1 - Joziah Fry 2 - Brady Gillis 3 - Tim Cook 4 - Mason Lynch 5 - Nic Gomes 6- Jacob Felix 7 - Noah Sclama 120 1-Fallon 2-Joyce 3-Dutcher 4-Lynch 5-Stephenson 6- Zarella 7-Robichaud In response to the previous poster your dumb! Fallon is a mature 17 year-old 120 pounder and even though he is coming off a serious injury he has more paper than anyone in RI, not to mention he was 3rd in NE as a freshmen and his only losses that year were to nationally ranked Craig and to current super 32 runner-up Jack(or they split, can'y recall) Joyce is also improved and has beaten two Fargo AA’s this Fall Fallon and Joyce could meet up to 4X times this season, their dual, Sam Cali, States and NE’s rumor has it they have rolled a few times this fall and its close maybe Fallon isn’t back to full strength and give the nod to Fallon but don’t be shocked if Joyce gets a win during one of those match ups. Lynch is a better wrestler than Dutcher, but he has a tendency to fade if he is wrestling a brawler which is exactly what Dutcher is, which is why I give him the nod over Lynch. To be honest i think one or both should go 126 which I think is more open. It would be really interesting if Passante was at 120 then we would have a hell of a weight class! Aiden Zarella is a tough Freshmen who is going 120 or 126 he would be my #6, but don't be shocked he could be as high as #3 Aiden Robichaud from Coventry could surprise but he should be going #113 but can't because of Fry! I predict Stephenson goes 132!

I thought the same thing about Fallon being ranked 4th. But everyone knows and respects his talent. Cool it’s whatever he’ll be back at 1 regardless and win NEs

I would also add Estevan Escobar - Connor Widmer - Antonio Bracey - Christian Rutherford - Brady Burke - Dylan Zenion - Riley Furtardo. I could add more but I'll keep my bias out. This years freshman states will be a great tournament.

Observations from this weekend
Hope looks real good
Chariho going to be a force this yea
Bishop will be even a bigger force
Cranston West should be very good this year - more dual meet wise than tournament team
Everyone always sleeps on Cumberland - prob cause only in state tournament they do is theirs (their too good to support other tournaments - story for another time)
Where does pong fit into this topic?
Last year two div 2 teams finsihed states top 10 - dont know about that this year
Mason Lynch looked real good at mt. Hope tournament. Should be wrestling joyce this weekend at north prov tournament.
Last few years north Providence tournament been real good with Coventry and pong attending.
