Jarrell is looking good at 160.. Looks like he could give Francis and Johnson a run for his money!! I agree that Jarrell is looking good and is a student of Serge. However, Steve Johnson is a strong, quick wrestler. Stronger at 160 than Francis. Where Francis excels is quickness and the nuances of wrestling. Like twitching his foot before the whistle to gain a caution on his opponent, for example. That weight class is looking to be competitive.

126: 1. Bloom - MB 2. DiSano - BH 3. Brown - Cov 4. Leite - EP 5. Myers - Narr 6. McDowell - Woon
132: 1. Stamas - EWG 2. Creamer - Cumb 3. Zueller - Pil 4. Celico - BH 5. Lynch - Pon 6. Robichaud - Cov
Anyone else notice that DiSano was at the Schmeider Tournament? Instead of 126, he was wrestling at 132. On his road to become champion, he beat Zueller by decision, 1-0, and Lynch by pin. Could that mean that DiSano is moving up to 132 for States? What would that mean for Celico?
Also of note was Robichaud going 1-2 at the tournament. He first lost to D. Sheldon of East Providence. It was 6-5 D. Sheldon before Robichard fell at 5:53. Robichaud then fell to J. Celestin of Mt. Pleasant at 0:22. D. Sheldon later defeated J. Celestin by fall at 1:24. D. Sheldon may be a wrestler to watch in the bottom half of the top 6.

Up on Projo Interesting results from last night's quad at Hendricken. Soto over Brodeur 11-6 Disano over Brown 3-0(Projo says Brodeur but I assume it should be Brown) Brodeur over Rivet by fall at 1:30 Caltigrone over Williams 7-1 It looks like Soto did not wrestle against Hendricken.

Wheeler NP beat Myers Nar in the finals at the NP tournament & again in duel meet last week. Westerly kid hasn't wrestled in any meets, WW took 3rd at NP tournament. Wheeler should be ranked higher at 120.

I agree! Hussey has wrestled 113 & 120. I'm not sure if he has certified at 113 or if he's going 120. Does anyone know what he certified at? If Hussey is going 120 then as of now ranking should be 1 Hussey, 2 Batista, 3 Wheeler, 4 Myers...

I used the Simple Rating System to rate teams based on duel meet results. I got the results from the projo and RIIL websites but there were a lot of meets that had no results posted so the result is not completely accurate. Regardless, a team rated 0 is average and the SRS rating is how many points a team would expect to beat an average team by.
Rank Team SRS 1 Hendricken 46.8 2 La Salle 38.2 3 Cumberland 31.7 4 North Providence 30.1 5 South Kingstown 29.1 6 East Providence 22.4 7 Pilgrim 18.1 8 Coventry 17.5 9 Woonsocket 16.9 10 Burrillville 16.4 11 Cranston East 14.7 12 Chariho 12.0 13 North Kingstown 8.6 14 Mt. Hope 7.2 15 East Greenwich 3.8 16 Cranston West 2.8 17 West Warwick 0.4 18 Hope 0.3 19 Ponaganset -0.7 20 Smithfield -1.5 21 Lincoln -2.5 22 Johnston -5.7 23 Narragansett -9.9 24 Warwick -11.7 25 Westerly -13.7 26 Toll Gate -16.4 27 Exeter/West Greenwich -21.2 28 Barrington -23.4 29 Mt. The SRS Ranking is pretty accurate. To no shock, I predict Hendricken to win States again, Cumberland to be the Bridesmaid again, and after that it is a toss up. E.P, N.P., Coventry, S.K., Lasalle, Johnston will all battle for a top 5 spot. There are going to be some upsets for individual titles this year. Still going over my predictions.

Francis hasn't dominated at weight class like say a John Alteiri has. Francis is beatable.

I'm doubting the accuracy of your SRS.

I'm hearing Cam Nappi is out for the season.
If Bloom is at 126 & Hussey at 113 this might be the weakest 119/120 I can ever recall. Just two years ago Altieri, Davol, & Beaudette were there.
