Chris Francis is a lock @ 160 and could contend for a NE title despite his recent 5-4 loss in the Cumby tournament finals. Kids a beast and has a motor like no other.

I posted links for the Cumberland (Gorman) tournament results and the Spartan (Sanford, ME) tournaments results in the Brackets section of this site. I recently added the Pelham (NH) tournament where Westerly finished 3rd.
BTW, Francis of LaSalle also took second in the Noble (ME) Invitational on Dec. 29, also losing by one point to Kameron Doucette of Skohegan, Maine. As a defending RI champ back at the same weight he certainly has a chance in the New England's this year, I think these recent tournaments show the depth of talent throughout New England.

Chris looks really good, however there are many good wrestlers in NE at 160. I know O'dell is said to be going 170, if he changes to 160 he is another level or two up above Francis.

Don't get me wrong ludston is good and all but Francis would beat him no doubt any day, Francis is just better but ludston will probably be a state champ next year in my opinion

How did Francis do at New England's last year? At 2015 New England tourney Francis was 3-2 at 160 lbs, missed placing by one match (lost to 5th place finisher in consy quarters). By comparison Peoples was 1-2 at 160, including getting teched by Odell - that's how good Odell is - while Lundstrem was 1-2 at 170 lbs.

152 Salazar lost to krupinski in dual meet by fall I herd Salazar was battling a mean cold when losing to krupinski. I wouldn't count Salazar out!
