How about Malagan, Meyers, Penney, Matthew, Farrell, Nelson, Johnson? All took first at South County, all won States. Breagy, Creamer, Bulk all took second and went on to win States. Sorry if I missed anyone.
There was a time, not very long ago, that DII didn't represent very well at States, but that has clearly changed. Be respectful.

A couple projections, throwing some names around, feel free to fill in the blanks....
103 - Do we even know who's there yet? I guess this will give us a small sense of the weight class. 112 - Malaghan vs. Hiebner in the finals? Or does Minty make it? 119 - S. Conroy will have a shot, is Vets gonna be there? 125 - Packhem, Travers 135 - Leville, K. Conroy 145 - Farrell the obvious favorite, Caputo should perform well too, what's the deal with Comstock? Audette is a wildcard too 160 - Morgan(EWG) if he's there, we don't know much about their team yet 171 - Nelson is the favorite if he's at 71 (or whatever other weight he goes), Wilmot should do well too 285 - Northup is the favorite

I see it coming down to NK, Westerly, and SK. I don't think anyone else has the combination of numbers plus quality wrestlers to win it. Will we see Middletown and Vets like we did last year? If they are there I think they round out the top 5.
Also, is Julian Nelson at 140? What weight is Hayek wrestling this year? They should both make some noise tomorrow.

I left the tournament with a 3 for 1 deal. A nice big shiner on my right eye, a third place medal, and ten staples in my head courtesy of the South County Hospital. What a day!
