I think Cov & Pono are both contenders for NE title this year. Pono did it in 2018 with 1, 1, 3, and some points on the back end from DNPs. Ellis, Meyers, Retherford from Cov with more who should qualify & pick up points on the back end if not placing. Joyce and another 5 projected state finalists for Pono. Wow please name your five other for pono 🤯 |

Not to mention Reall has wrestled cooper twice and has lost both times. Well see how cooper handle himself tmr with Mt. Hope kid. That should be a great match. |

I haven’t seen all of them wrestle, I just went off Funkmasters rankings (Hood, Hood, Hood, Joyce, Reall, Baccala are all ranked Top 2) Thats the other thing pono hasnt wrestle a match yet. Not to mention Reall has wrestled cooper twice and has lost both times. Well see how cooper handle himself tmr with Mt. Hope kid. That should be a great match. |

With Polion going 182 again last night, mark your calendars for Feb 5th Smithfield Tournament. If all the teams that are listed on on Flo go and send their varsity, 6x returning medalists could be wrestling at 182 Cranston West Polion - 3rd LA Salle Gregorian - 6th Hope - Taveras - 6th Barrington - Lundstein - 3rd South Kingston - Reiner - 4th Woonsocket - Alarie - 6th I'm not convinced Lundstein is going 182. I talked to him at the Griswold tournament and he said he missed weight. His match with Reiner was not the type of wrestling that you come to know from Arron. While he won the match, it did look like the extra weight and strength of Logan was frustrating him. Also, the Smithfield Tournament looks like a very strong tournament in a number of weights. It will be particularly interesting to see what pans out in the 170 & 160 brackets. Zerrela has been at 160 a couple of matches, Lundstein could very well be at 170. Prince Kollie (JS) bounces between both weights and he's become a guy who could do well. Tyler Hunter also missed weight at the Griswold tournament and bounced up to 160. He's another one who could disrupt rankings in either 152 or 160. Antonio Bracey (Johnston) has only had 2 or so weeks on the mat and will be much more like himself come February. Oliver Parker (CF) is a dark horse that has made considerable improvements. Cardolino (EWG) has had respectable matches against a number of ranked guys between this season and last. Mount Pleasent can murky up the bracket depending on who they send out at either of the weights. Edwin Young is a very strong wrestler. Owen Baute (LaS) can compete in either. Charlie Durkin (Barrington) has placed at 2 of 3 of the tournaments he has been in with the exception being where he lost 2 matches by 1 point and a UTB. Im thinking CW, Barrington, Chariho and Hope will be battling for the team title. In this tournament I think CW might be a little to deep and could run away with it. |

What information is gathered for these rankings? All information that’s out there, matches, tournaments, newspapers, etc. All of it objective and result based, besides the P4P ranking (which is just my opinion) |

Cooper and Reall wrestled once in a dual last year where Cooper won 5-2. They haven’t wrestled each other since that I’m aware of

Let talk about what the criteria should be for rankings. 1) head to head 2) national paper 3) New England paper 4) state paper 5) common opponents |
