Lombardo wrestled 138 at Cumberland. Looks like hes staying there. Reigosa over Lynch 6-5 @ Cumberland Tourney. Doesn't change rankings but Guarcas over Hancock 6-2. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t Reigosa score back points then pinned Lynch Sorry you're right. Flo includes the score of the match at the time of pin I just saw that didn't see it said Win by Fall.

Ponagansett brought 4 kids to Eastern States.
They placed 22nd as a team with Tyler Riggs placing 4th. Congratulations to Riggs!
Cook #18 seed DNP and went 1-2 losing to the #2 and #12 seeds. He majored the #15 seed and was majored by the #2 and pinned by the #12.
Joyce #3 seed DNP and went 3-2. He made it to the quarters beating an unseeded opponent, #30 seed and #14 seed. He lost to the #11 seed by decision and #4 seed pinned.
Villanova #17 seed DNP and went 1-2 losing to the #1 seed and an unseeded opponent. He almost majored the #16 seed.
Riggs was the #2 seed and went 4-2 placing fourth. He notched the win over an unseeded opponent, the #15 seed, #7 seed, #8 seed. He lost versus the #11 seed and the #4 seed.
Cirka was the #1 seed and DNP. He went 1-2 on the weekend. He pinned the #16 seed. He then was pinned by the #9 and #7 seeds.

I think BH runs away with that meet and Hancock is most likely out. Was injured at the Jon Gorman invitational.

Fallen wrestles for Hendricken. I don’t think the 120 is ranked at Cumberland. Reilly is up and Gillis is below.

Trackwrestling does not seem to have the BH vs Ponnagansett or BH vs Mt.Hope.Does anyone have the results? Hendricken beat pono 39-28. The only change in the lineups were fine and maroney switching weights and villanova bumping to 152. Hendi also beat mt hope but I dont know the score Trackwrestling now has the box scores for BH against both Ponagansett and Mount Hope. No real surprises at Pono, it mainly came down to whether Bailey could beat Cirka again so soon. Against Mt. Hope besides A. Bennett beating Reid, Grifka also beat Swanson; both matches should impact rankings and seeding.

It is comical how people are so dependent on rankings and no one realizes how these actually damage the wrestlers who feel like they are being judged by adults. Ok adults carryon.

That’s all mental. IMO nobody’s really “Dependant” on ranking. If a young adolescent high schooler lets it get into there head that is on them. I had a everyone can be beat and wrestle my match when I wasn’t so good and when I got good I had a nobody’s better than me mindset. Respect and somewhat understand your stance on it but I this page is great IMO.

This is wrestling. Kids get ranked. Kids get medals based on their success and hard work. Kids have to wrestle off for the starting spot. If you’re worried about rankings in high school maybe you’re in the wrong forum and sport. Every state high school wrestling forum does it. Flo does it. USAWrestling does it. Do you feel badly about the poor kids that didn’t place at Gorman this weekend? They didn’t get to stand on the podium. Stop it. You’re being ridiculous. “judged by adults”. Give me a break. That’s all mental. IMO nobody’s really “Dependant” on ranking. If a young adolescent high schooler lets it get into there head that is on them. It is comical how people are so dependent on rankings and no one realizes how these actually damage the wrestlers who feel like they are being judged by adults. Ok adults carryon. Rankings are done allnofe the country in every sport! If kids cant handle some rankings and realize themselves that anyone can beat anyone at any given time, then they shouldn't even be in sports! Stop being soft and let kids grow people need to stop babying all these kids....
