The results from tournaments have definitely not been looked at properly. At 170 Robert from (CW) is 10-3 with 8 pins, 7 coming in the first period. He went up to 182 against NP and Pinned Symms early in the second period. He pinned the 182 in Cumberland and his only losses are to Doherty at the NK tourney (placed 2nd) and to Briet by pin in a quad and (8-4) in the NP tourney (placed 3rd). He is a 3rd year varsity wrestler(2017 freshman state champ at 152) who had a hard road at states in 2018 because of sitting out the first 1/2 of his sophomore season. He met Burgess early and lost 6-2 in that tourney, 160 was a stacked weight class last year because so many wrestlers moved there to avoid Rivet. I would rethink the 170lb rankings for sure

Roberts got teched against Dougherty in the second period and freshman states is such a joke now. So no,170 is fine until a major upset occurs

What kind of crack Am I smoking? So I give an intelligent thought out, supported statement and since you really have no rebuttal or knowledge of these wrestlers then you blurt out a rude remark, that in fact, makes you look like the one who is doing drugs. Well played sir, I’m sure anyone who reads your comment will definitely consider your intellect and will also be thoroughly impressed because you nick named yourself God, fitting. I thought this was a place where grown ups came to have discussions, obviously not. Easy to be so bold and classless when you are anonymous.

Fresh rankings. Definitely coming together but still working out some of the early season kinks (in particular figuring out who belongs at #4,5,6 at certain weight classes) so if you know something that I don't please let me know. Really need help with 113, 145, and 285 couldn't make out a solid #6 for any of these weights, would love to hear suggestions. One thing of note Passanante beat Remolina at 126 but I am working under the assumption that Passaante will be back at 132 once Reilly is back. If this is not the case please let me know. A note on P4P it is not done on a hypothetical "who would win if both wrestlers weighed the same." It is based on how dominant each wrestler is within their weight class respective to New England competition. The original P4P this year was done in order according to highest placement at last years New Englands. The only exception was Fallon who was hurt last year but placed 3rd at NEs as a Freshman.
Also I would like to reiterate again that things such as performance at freshman states, any results from middle school, and close losses do not count for anything in rankings.
That being said:

Can someone explain how Rutherford is ranked over Maroney? ? Would be more helpful if you gave me a reason to change it. Had a tough time piecing together the bottom of that weight class, not much to go by results wise and I haven't had the luxury of seeing BH or Cov wrestle this year.

Maroney made finals at NK and lost to Merritt without getting pinned and Rutherford lost to Ford in the NP finals, now I understand how Ford can be ranked over Maroney because of his NP tournament win, but I feel that since Maroney has been around and was ranked last year for a while and Rutherford is a freshman, Maroney should be ranked higher

How is Danny Brown not number 2 at 160? You're right Brown placed higher than Gosselin at states last year. Fixed.

Ford 152 NK should be ranked or HM. Recently beat Crawford MP after being pinned by him. Crocker at 220 NK also should be ranked. Is Villanova dropping to 145 or staying, Same with Fry at 113-106. Parris Cooper should be one to look for and watch at 132. For sure consider him in rankings at least an HM. From what I'm hearing and the results of that NY dual Hendricken went to Fallons hurt with a knee injury. A lot of BH kids dropped weight classes against East providence including Fine to 138. MH Bennet should be ranked 3rd or 4th at 152 he is not at 138. Also Onajide beat Dougherty this year 160.

Teams that dont go to tournaments their guys get left out sometimes
126 Both sullivan burr and hall juanita sanchez will compete for 5th/6th place. Both of them were one match away last year at 120.
Well see how they do against etheridge in the dual meet and stephenson at the Smithfield tournament.
