Any word on tonight's coaches meeting?
Any special circumstances?
Where did teves end up?
Is Fenwick wrestling?
Is Smithfield hwt wrestling?
When will the brackets be out?
Any two wrestlers who people thought would be in finals end up meeting before the finals maybe in quarters or semis?

I forgot to ask about Fenwick. Hopefully someone will post the brackets soon

He weighed 138 at the prep tournament in GA. He weighed 138 at Eastern States. He weighed 138 when MB faced Woonsocket in the dual even though Jerez went 152 hahaha. Notice a trend with MB? Could they be cherry picking weight classes?

LOL, good one Mike. Ever think you don't know all the answers and why he might have to go up a weight versus just trashing on people for trying to avoid comrpetition. Furthermore I doubt he gives a crap about winning a rhode island state title, new England's is what's on his mind and wrestlers like Kane and monterio are way better than what 138 has to offer, is he ducking those kids too by going 45?

Could be just a growth spurt in the last few weeks of the season. Could be MB has the game figured out and does this type of thing every season. Guys out all season due to injury but pop up just before states. We've seen it all before. The good thing is there will be one more season then MB can go back to having zero competitive wrestlers. ;-)

By the way, we all saw the finals match of that MAJOR prep tournament in GA hahaha. While I'm calling out how one school operates you are calling out an entire STATE by consistently downing RI Wrestling. Unless I'm mistaken this particular kid has not won a state title even though RI is soooo weak.

Bloom weighed 120 at both tournaments. Lost to Fields. Now if his eyes are on New England's too he MUST know McGonagle from NH pinned Fields. But that played no part in his bumping up. The good thing is there will be one more season then MB can go back to having zero competitive wrestlers. ;-)

Unfortunately RI wrestling is very weak compared to mass or any new england states We're going to see about that in a couple of weeks. Everyone downing RI wrestling can F off when this state has it's most successful run at NE's in years.

Listen I am just stating facts, that is all, RI has what 5-6 new england champs in the last so many years where as mass has multiple. I hope RI has a huge showing at new englands, but we will see.

It's weird even when Mass kids cross the state line and go to school in RI they can't win New England's :-)

Don't hate, just wait, it is all rite around the corner. I know a few kids are just chomping at the bit to get on the mat and roll, pitbull dog fighting kinda kids that like a challenge. The kind of kids that have a match won but are still looking for the final takedown, back points or escape and turn for another go. Yup rite here in lil ol Rhode Island!!

The good thing is there will be one more season then MB can go back to having zero competitive wrestlers. ;-) To start, you belittling high school kids injuries make you look like an a**hole. Simple as that. And you're right MB in two years will most likely not have any wrestlers as good as you or your son, if you even have one currently in HS... However, your ignorance never seems to amaze me as you probably don't realize that any kid who attends MB clearly isn't there for the wrestling program but the academic challenge. So, before you sound like a knucklehead, you may want to look into the meaning of "STUDENT-athlete". Wrestling isn't the most important thing anymore, besides, CCRI doesn't even have a wrestling program

If I was talking about real injuries i'd agree. I'm talking about "injuries".
Also, this is a wrestling forum i'm not here to argue the merits of a private school education.
I think MB has shown it's true colors with their air of superiority, "RI wrestling *" comments, CCRI comments now, etc...mission accomplished.
