Listen I am just stating facts, that is all, RI has what 5-6 new england champs in the last so many years where as mass has multiple. I hope RI has a huge showing at new englands, but we will see. It's weird even when Mass kids cross the state line and go to school in RI they can't win New England's :-) Mike this is really just pathetic, you want to take a shot at Andrew Howard say it to his face, and don't ry to run and say it wasn't directed at him. I am appalled that someone who so honorably represented ri wrestling too Muir state titles and multiple New England placements. You don't have legs to stand on when it comes to success. So seriously just so everyone a favor and shut your mouth

So seriously just so everyone a favor and shut your mouth I'm defending RI wrestling and will continue to do so. If the MB crew is dumb enough to bad mouth the state they will be called out continually. None of you are TOO GOOD for RI. None of you are D1 bound. None of you are named Giblin, Altieri, Meyers, etc... Shut YOUR mouth and here's to MB getting beat in every match possible this weekend.

If I was talking about real injuries i'd agree. I'm talking about "injuries". Also, this is a wrestling forum i'm not here to argue the merits of a private school education. I think MB has shown it's true colors with their air of superiority, "RI wrestling *" comments, CCRI comments now, etc...mission accomplished. What "injuries" are we talking about here.. Wheres your M.D from that you can diagnose injuries now, I'm curious. Anyways, not sure how this argument even started here but all I know is you started bad talking students and questioning their own decisions, which was 100% unneeded. So I think you have shown your true colors by talking smack about high school kids on a forum. Lets not be screen warriors here now lol.. Moving on...

Here's a direct link to the brackets: www.flowrestling.org/arena/event/553-rhode-island-high-school-championships. Sheesh, I really had to hunt for it on FloWrestling; it's under "State Tournaments Hub." Some tough semi-final and quarter-final pairings as you might imagine from the weight shifting and MIA contenders. Soto and Brodeur are on the same side of the bracket; Martino and Fenwick on the same side; and Celico has Lynch and Andrews/Stamas on his side to go through for a chance at a Creamer/Bloom final. What's the incentive for going undefeated in RI all season long?

This looks to be a great weekend and i'm really looking forward to some entertaining, hard nosed, and competitive matchups. This has the potential to be a memorable one followed by what I predict will be an excellent showing by RI at New Englands. Good health to all of the wrestlers out there and let's hope to see the best from all competitors regardless of your rooting interest.
I will refrain from posting for the rest of the season but have enjoyed the banter.

Martino and Celico will be in the finals, Bloom will have all he can do to take 3'd when dropping down to the consis after the Creamer / Gomez match.

Hussey is just too fast and technical, also not only does almonte have to get through jarrell who he lost to more than once this year, he also has to beat francis as well. francis is going to take it this year.
