fan4life, I agree with you, but I never said he should be ranked at the top. I just thought he should not be ranked so low. How can he be ranked below wrestlers that he has victories over in dual matches and also hasn't lost to in any tournament,(Cole,BH and Brown,NK). Thanks for the input.

There were a few upsets that I noticed, one big one. Stewart (160) from BH was pinned in overtime by Francis of LSA. Also, Lombardo (195) from Mt. Hope lost to Pierce from TG by pin. Any other upsets?

Zanni(195) from NP beat Burdick 1-0 from Westerly in dual meet and Soares for the 2nd time this year last night in NP vs Johnston dual meet. And Moreira from NP(182) has beaten Vigeant in a dual meet last night 5-1 and Saqib from Lincoln earlier in the year at the NP tournament. and Mulligan from NP is down to 170. Africo from NP also beat Krawec(220) from Cumberland 3 times this year.

SK beat Cumberland tonight in one of the most exciting meets I have seen in a long time. The house was packed and the fans were out of their seats. Should make for an interesting states!

Any other upsets? I wouldn't quite call Francis(LSA) pinning Stewart(Hendricken) an upset. After all Francis placed 4th in a tough weight class last season and is only a junior this year with Stewart being a senior. Francis has beaten Peoples in offseason matches and has looked very good this year. IMO that shouldn't be labeled an upset. Stewart has been pinned twice in the last 2 weeks... |

Chariho and West Warwick both looked very dominant @ Smithfield. Going 1 and 2. Both teams had many guys in both the finals and consi finals. Merritt and Hamilton BOTH look good as they both took first and third. Hamilton wrestled Merrit extremely tough in his semis loss. Danny Eastham pinned his way through the tournament @ 120. Salazar wrestled a close match in the finals but lost 5-1 to Almonte. CW looked sharp as well with both Gomez bothers having solid days and Max looked flawless. All in all it was a pretty good tournament and nicely ran!
