honestly you think thats an excuse? i just told you it goes both ways. you CANT knock cumberland crowd and not say CW isnt wrong. if they were so classy they would keep their mouths shut instead and being the immature classless people they are. if you want to be better than them than shut up and act like it. yes cumberland crowd is wrong and i said that before. But CW KIDS ARE NO BETTER. but it was not the parents of cw that was doing this . as far as cw kids callin them classless you have no clue. kids are kids but parents know better and i guess they have class . |

I truly dont understand why you all say just treat her the same but yet here you all are talking about her and it never seems to stop. I wasnt there this weekend at states but I know everyone from CW and I know how the fans of Cumby can be. i just want to say now, DONT any of you ever dare think about saying that Cole, Everett, Nick or Kaitlyn are classless. I have trained next to all of them before and I know how hard they work in both sports wrestling and judo. I know the level of respect they have for everyone in the sport. I know there actions might not of seemed it when this all went down, but everyones emotions get the best of them at some point. Im not saying that its right to do what they have been accused of, but its not like this is a reoccurring theme for them. So you cannot call someone classless for something that happens very rarely. I know i would of probly felt the same way all of them felt during the match. If you think about it its very clear that Kaitlyn isnt treated the same, but its not for the same reasons you all said. Kaitlyn has been verbally harassed and hazed for 3 years now from people that dont even know her, I have never once heard another wrestlers name mentioned as many times in a bad way as Kaitlyns..... and she doesnt deserve it at all. Serge is one of the greatest men i have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and i know how he expects his own to act and they are held to a higher level then most average high school athletes. so for the love of all that is good just stop with all of this. no matter how you look at this both were at fault from what iv heard. the kids form CW let there emotions get the best of them and said things they shouldnt of said, but at the same time the cumby PARENTS should know better, you are adults not children you can hold ur emotions in and try not to make a young girl trying her best to feel bad. you should never as an adult do anything to make a child regardless of gender feel bad.....I have seen different parents from different teams commit this embarrassing act. it needs to stop

You are right "smitty" you hit the nail on the head...But in all the problems that arise there are many complex reasons why people act as they do...unfortunately you put a bunch of different people inside the same room and even though they all speak the same language doesn't mean they all carry the same definition of the words they speak...point is people will always justify there position and actions of why they did what they did why they do what they do...always hoping to win over those who disagree or just bringing on more of like mindedness... you are 100% right that these are kids...kids that if by an ill fate of chance was faced with a life changing disability would not probable be able to understand what LIFE really is about...Everything in Life is meant for a reason...the right reason...unfortunately people (including myself at times) don't act right...dont treat others as they would want to be treated...and so on...i felt looking around and hearing and seeing what i saw just a real emptiness for a lot of reasons...Most of all that a few peoples ignorance can cause so much hurt with words and actions and the funny thing about is that these people didn't use any of there physical attributes...just there mouths...I just try to learn from it and pray that i can just always do what i would want done to me...its kinda like WWJD?...

minty made a stupid mistake that was very unfortunate..he deff. would have been a finalist..
Mexicanman..let me guess..u took 6th at d2 sectionals and ur still *ed at the world about it..
Cumberland parents angry that she has 3 more state medals than any of them..by the way who is the assistant coach up there?...he's a real CLASSY guy..if i recall last year the cumberland fans had a standing ovation when she lost last year...same old story...

So your making excuses for the cw crowd being the way they were? How's this, maybe the Cumberland crowd doesn't like her because they feel disrespected because their kids work just as hard or harder but eveytime you turn on the news or look in the paper shes the one in it. I already said they are both are wrong but don't go making excuses for one ram and not the other. And thisisawasteoftime, people would clap when I lost too, soooo do you see complaining about it? Can we all stop *ing??? It's clear there are 2 major camps then people in the middle and people in the middle that prefer one more then the other. Both sides did some wrong things this weekend. Oconnel shouldn't have said what he did, either should several of the Cumberland fans. Glad was getting out of hand too. Bottom line people make irresponsible comments... Some out of the heat of battle others more deliberately. I feel some do it more as a reaction and others have done it more out of spite. Reguardless of which side is on people need to calm down and remember it's about kids competeting let's not turn into those crazy hockey parents/fans who start fighting in the stands or going after kids! Our sport is way too classy for this and all of us should act that way.
