This result had been reported earlier in the Rankings section, but it's the second out-of-RI tourney that the Hawks have won this season, back on January 28. They prevailed over Mass. power Central Catholic as well as host Concord, NH and Maine stalwart Noble. Ten placers for BH with five finalists and champs Campbell and Church. Yup, Fine lost to reigning NE titlist (160 lbs. last year) Nathan Blanchette of Central Catholic 10-5. Sclama was a bit of a surprise at 170, getting a pin in the semis over Caden Chase of Central Catholic who had placed sixth at Lowell. McGrew was the other finalist, and Hendricken got two thirds and three fifths. Pilgrim also competed at Capital City, placing right in the middle of the 29 team field with O'Connor taking third at 182 and Olivera and Watts finishing 6th at 113 and 170, respectively. There were several other New England ranked wrestlers in attendance such as Coy Lyford of Spaulding, VT at 106, Lowell champ Peter Rincan of Bedford, NH at 113, Caden Brusso of Hollis-Brookline, NH at 120, Teghan McConnell also of Bedford who beat Vital in the 145 semis, Derek Cote of Noble, ME at 152, and Matthew Cleary, Plymouth, NH at 170, all champs. So definitely a pretty good tournament. Link to Floarena below: arena.flowrestling.org/event/f0f32fa3-d4ef-492f-aea0-dbed424ff9fd
