...And they are down again! I did have a sneak peek though. Should be an exciting weekend!
One over arching thought - I hate the RI seeding system. This should be a meritocracy. Seed the best where they belong, and who cares if they are from D2 or D3. RI needs to host more middle school tournaments to encourage more head-to-head match ups. And Ripcoa needs to establish a place where results are published weekly. It's 2023, right?
Without avenues for local competition, local competitors look elsewhere. Always outside of RI.

Yeah the seeding's is so bad they need to step it up and do more tournaments.

Where can is see the brackets ? roberto518, they took them down. The only thing that you can see now is who is in the bracket and to do that you need to go in through the backdoor. Go to Flo and hit the search button near upcoming. Put in RIPCOA and hit enter. Select the 2023 RIPCOA Varsity Championships. When you get in, hit the search button again and put in the weight class and hit enter. This will show you the wrestlers in the bracket. Hope I explained it well enough.

Well dominatethemat, I agree with your first prediction. But we'll have to put your second one to the test. Some good matches to look for tomorrow will potentially be at 75, 112, 140. Any others?

Really liked the finals under the lights at this year's Middle School Varsity Championships! I thought the tournament was well run and having it in North Kingstown was new and fun.
Also, congratulations to Apollo Bellini for winning OW and congratulations to all that participated!

Also, congratulations to Apollo Bellini for winning OW and congratulations to all that participated! Well deserved! Agreed, they really did a great job with setting the stage for the finals. The atmosphere made for a very compelling finish! Kudos to those behind the scenes who put that together! And congrats to all of the finalists who competed valiantly. They should all feel proud.
