I hope folks are getting to watch wrestling at the Olympics. While NBC has a variety of networks covering the Olympic events, most of the wrestling takes place on the Olympic channel if you get that on cable. Or follow updates on Trackwrestling/Flo or one of the other services. So far the US team has been spectacular. While men's Greco remains a work in progress for this century, the women and men's freestyle teams have been terrific. So far a gold, silver and bronze for the women and gold and bronze with a gold/silver for Gable Steveson and maybe a bronze for Dake coming up tonight among the men's side - with Olympic/world champ Kyle Snyder still to go. This is out of six weightclasses for each team so almost every American wrestler is a contender. With Russia no longer as dominant as the former USSR used to be the talent is more spread out, with the US facing world titlists/medalists from Eastern Europe (Russia, Bulgaria, Germany) and the Middle East (Iran, Turkey, India, any of the "-stans"). Japan's women are still incredibly dominant but the US can actually challenge them now.
