Cumberland finished in first place over Mass. Top-10 team St. John's Prep. Cumby had champs Gillis and Faria with Diaz, Lynch and Maguire runners-up. Passanente and Reilly were upset in the quarterfinals. Grifka won 182 for Mt. Hope, with Middletown and Tollgate also entered. RI had 3 of the top 6 heavyweights with Florendo of Middletown 3rd, and Jenness of MH pinning TG's Ferrarria for 5th. The tourney format actually placed through 12! I've never seen that, but it does give consolation losers some extra matches, so a nice holiday workout for all entered. Link to Floarena and team standings below:
