Happy Friday everyone!
Now that wrestling season prep is in full swing, I am reaching out to find any individuals interested in volunteering as an assistant coach for the Davies Tech wrestling team. This is likely going to be a paid position starting next season, but I am looking for someone that wants to get their foot in the door, or even someone that wants to be a part of a program from the ground up to learn how to do it themselves next year.
We will be wrestling a competitive schedule right from the start with matches and tournaments in RI, MA & CT. I am hoping to build this program to the point where we can compete with some high quality competition in Northern New England, NY, NJ and CT. I will also be looking for someone to help come up with club ideas for the offseason.
Practices are typically held at 4:30 with a few 2:30 practices sprinkled in. This assistant does not need to work within the school, as I myself do not.
