In an effort to improve RI wrestling, a few coaches are coming together to create a RI National Team for freestyle. Our goal is to raise the level of wrestling in Rhode Island, travel to a number of tournaments and extend the wrestling season for those who want to train in the offseason.
The coaches who are committed to Jon Egan (Roger Williams University), John Clark (John Clark All-American Wrestling Academy) and Todd Beckerman/Tyler Grayson (Brown University). We have a few tournaments we are aiming to be at:
Journeymen Freestyle Classic - weekend of April 16th
Northeast Regionals - weekend of April 30th
Fargo - week of July 22nd
