I just noticed on RIIL, that there is a Div I and Div II Duel Meet Tournament scheduled for Feb 13th & 14th. I overheard that they were trying to get back the State Duel Meet Championships. Is this what that is. If so, what are the details, how many teams get in. Anyone Know???

8 Teams in each division.
D1 Tournament is at Hendicken and D2 is at Smithfield.
The 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, and 4v5 (Quarters) matches are Friday night. Semis and Finals are the next day.

Do you know how those 8 teams qualify? Is it the best dual meet regular season records regardless of whether the teams are in I-A vs. I-B or will some type of weighted system show preference to teams in I-A qualifying? Thank you.

Top 8 records qualify. Doesnt matter if you are in 1a vs. 1b. All division 1 teams have the same schedule. All division 2 teams have the same schedule. So the top teams in each division, regardless of sub division, will qualify.
