We have quite a few Rhode Island guys traveling down to Virginia to wrestle the 2014 NHSCA Nationals in Virgia Beach in both H.S. and Middle school Divisions, and also next week we have a few traveling to PA to wrestle in the Flo Nationals and then a week later some will be wrestling in the Eastern Nationals up in New York. Good Luck to all who are representing Rhode Island. Lets' bring back some National Championship and All American titles!!!

Any way to find out who from Rhode Island will be wrestling in those tournaments?

I know for NHSCA you can view RI entries per Grade here-----> www.nhsca.com/?page=2014Events <------(go to desired grade and click it, then select current entries.) they'll be posting brackets as soon as everyone is weighed in thursday night. They wrestle on Fri, Sat, and Sun for this tournament. |

I'm glad to hear that a fair number of Rhode Islanders are entering this tournament. Last year Jim Sauro was the only RI wrestler to place in this event (6th at 152 lb. Frosh) but about a dozen New England wrestlers placed. And Mike Gallagher went 3-2 for the second year in a row. Best wishes for the Rhody grapplers!

It would be nice if there was one national tournament that you had to qualify for like New England's. They could do regional tournaments like little league does and then have a real national champion

Congrats to Carl Neff of EWG for placing 6th at Flo Nationals and becoming an All-American. You can find the brackets on trackwrestling.com, search for flo nationals then look in the 220 lb. High school bracket.
