Great first day! So far i have predicted every single match correctly hoping that will uphold today. Lasalle is right were they need to be to grab this. Can't wait to watch some great wrestling today!

I just wanted to give a shout out to Noah Robey (285 from Barrington) who has been wrestling and winning for over 3 weeks now with a broken left wrist and refusing to quit. He's one tough, dedicated and courageous wrestler. I can't imagine how he made it as far as he did or how far he could have gone if he was healthy.

Congratulations to all place winners, and to BH for winning states this year as well as EWG for being runner up 2 years in a row, not too shabby for a D 2 team that's a small school in size. There was some great matches the past 2 days and some upsets! Good luck to everyone next weekend, I'm looking forward to it as a fan! Can anyone fill me in on how Howard from MB won by dq in 132 finals? I couldn't make finals but saw the result and was curious. Thanks in advance!

Alteri did and 126 was the outstanding match I was very impressed by Soto's performance. I wonder if Altieri would have still got the OW if Soto turned D'Alosio at the very end. |

Alteri did and 126 was the outstanding match Interesting side note the refs all voted for the 285 final for outstanding match, were questioned for 5 minutes about the reasons. Then the announcement was made that 126 got it. Why pole the refs if you don't listen. Nothing against the 126 final it was great, but WTF! |

I heard the same thing and very much agree. Id like to know who and why the match of the night was overturned despite a unanimous vote by officials. Side note ctwrestler seems to be really high on Robey

I wasn't crazy about the stalling calls in the 138 match. Watched it today.
First Max got warned , then Tim , not sure either wrestler stalled. Then Tedesco tries to return Max to the mat repeatedly and gets a banged for a point.
I will never understand stalling in HS wrestling.
Someone explain.
This is just about stalling in general not meant to take away from a great win by Max.
