Yes but Finalist, I believe you had Mt Hope winning that Match. But once again ,the first words out of your mouth are is Johnston loses to Lasalle, and Mt Hope Wins Division. You were probably one of the ones I was talking about in an earlier post,How about great job for beating MT Hope and an even better Job for Lasalle pulling out a great win against Johnston.Give Credit where its due,I can Honestly say that Mt Hope wrestled great and it was the bestDual Ive seen to date, but the better of the two emerged that nite even giving up six points....Like I said in an earlier post, its tough to swallow for many at times .And the season is not over yet.

I'm just surprised they lost is all , with so much at stake. They stepped up big on Wednesday with a huge win but kinda gave it away on Thursday. it is why this sport is so different from football or any of the other sports. It's so much about match ups. I knew Lasalle would give Johnston trouble in some spots especially the bigger weights. 160 was real big win, and forfeit at 145 an HW did them in. George's is gonna be big trouble in states. I'm sure JHS was a little deflated after the Mt Hope match. On any night there is a handful of teams that can beat each other. And then there is Hendricken. The only real #1 team in states.

I agree there,Hendricken is the real deal, but they also have an advantage as does Lasalle with the kids enrolled, some of the best athletes around RI and NE.Hendricken will and should win the State Tourney this year but 2nd is up for grabs for many teams and will def be interesting, and we should see some real good matches this year.Mt hope,Johnston,Cumberland,EWG and a couple others I probably missed, but at any rate,I love the sport and each and every kid that wrestles no matter good or just starting out and no matter where from, the discipline they get from wrestling will hopefully make them great men some day in the future, good luck to all.....And I forgot to mention, the officiating at the Mt Hope and Johnston match was top notch, and even as excited as we parents for both teams got it was nothing but a mutual respect for all involved.Great job boys and good luck at States...

I hope so,but if it came to a tie between the two, wouldnt JHS get it because they beat them in the dual.(if not a tie is good, but in any other sport it would go to the team that beat the other head up ,I think...)

I was very impressed with the quality of the wrestling and more importantly the manner in which the wrestlers carried themselves win or lose. Kudos to both teams Coaches and wrestlers!!!!!
