Roger Williams University is a solid Institution of higher learning. With an enrollment of 3,750 undergraduate students, the University has that unique small college setting in beautiful Bristol. There are six schools within the University: The Gabelli School of Business, School of Architecture, Art and Historic Preservation, Feinstein School of Arts and Sciences, School of Justice Studies, School of Education and the School of Engineering. There are many programs offered in each area. Several of our programs are nationally acclaimed. RWU was ranked 7th in the Top Tier of Northern Liberal Arts Colleges by “U.S. News and World Report,” our highest ranking ever and the tenth straight year we have achieved such a high regional ranking.
Our wrestling program is one of the most successful teams at the University. We had three Academic All-Americans, five All-New England performers, four wrestlers earn All-Pilgrim League honors, and one national qualifier this year. In nine of the past ten years we have finished in the Top 25 in the nation in Team GPA, no other team at the University has achieved that status more than once. The team consists of 35 dedicated and hard-working student-athletes from eight states who major in a wide variety of subjects. You can read more about the wrestling program on our website. Our team has taken trips to Finland, Russia, Estonia, Holland, Ireland, and Northern Ireland. The University is an NCAA Division III member in all sports and thus we are not allowed to give athletic scholarships. We do, however, have an extensive financial aid program and scholarships are given based on academics, need and leadership. You can read more about our program on our website at:

I would strongly recommend a visit to the University so you can talk with different people on campus to get a clear idea of what life is like at RWU. I would be more than happy to set-up the visit for you and to meet with you during your visit and talk with you about our wrestling program and the many good things RWU has to offer. I would also like to offer my assistance to you, if you have any questions at any time, please contact me. I have enclosed my contact information for your records. I would ask that if you are interested in Roger Williams University, please fill out the Prospective Athlete Form in the link below.

Best of luck in the search for the college of your choice. Please consider our fine school and what it can provide you both as a student and athlete. I truly hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
