Here is an educated guess on what NE's will look like for RI:
106-
Altieri is going to be tested; his first will be tough along with his next most likely against Rachel Hale of MAU, VT-1. He will run into Benevedes of Durfee MA-1 who has his number losing twice to him already. He will definitely medal. Davol does have a chance of winning his first match but Lemieux of Pinkerton, NH-1 will probably end his championship hopes. O'Connell will have a tough road facing MA-1 Jon Ryan of Dracut but has a good chance of placing if he’s willing to take the long road there.
113-
Losing Alvarez and Howard in this bracket was very detrimental to RI's success here. I give credit to Ebed for his great championship run but I don't believe he has the experience right now to hang with someone like Peter Robinson MA-2 of St. John's Shrewsbury, or CT-2 Brian Amato of Newington. I believe Beaudette would be more successful in the tourney if he wasn't going to run into Conor Kirkegard of New Milford, CT the returning NE champ from 103.
120-
Collici is a potential NE finalist/champ. However he will be tested. I assume Pat LaCroix to be his first match, MA-3 from Central Catholic. After that he'll face a tough Dan Roger of Londonderry, NH-2 then the returning NE champ from 112 Tyler Keane of Glastonbury, CT-1. And if he hurdles that bout he'll most likely face the limber and cocky Mike Mui of Hingham, MA-1. D'Alosio also will have a tough road, squaring off with Will Crisco of Daniel Hand, CT-2 who took and overtime thrilling lost to Keane this weekend.
126-
Vicente is back and hopefully this year more poised to take what he wants and that's an NE title. Last weekend O'Boyle of Central Catholic, MA-2 was upset by Paul Sughre of Meuthen, MA-1. With that Vicente has to beat Sughre to claim a title bout and then take on O'Boyle for the crown. I believe in him to do so, however Hayward of NK, and Travers TG I don't think they'll make much noise this weekend.
132-
In my opinion this is Miguel Calixto's (Windham, CT-1) to lose. However Murphy is on the other side where it's not as bulky and he can push he way atleast to the semis possibly finals depends on how tough he wrestles this weekend, and I don't for a second doubt his intensity to do so. Serge's RI-2 berth maybe alittle rough as if he moves on from his pigtail he will wrestle a very tough Tamardze from West Springfield, MA-1, and if he survives Hale of MAU, VT-1.
138-
LaBrie has one stepping stone to the finals in my opinion, and that is Fritz Hoehn of North Andover, MA-2 the freshmen sensation. Daigle of Pinkerton, NH-1 will prove tough but I think he can overcome it to square off against James Smith of Natick, MA-1 or Brandon Walsh of Griswold, CT-1. Unfortunately Maccini and Dupre sit on that side of the bracket.
145-
A. LaBrie is in a tougher situation I think. In the quarters he will face off with Sam Odell South Windsor, CT-1 who has been on fire lately and like his brother this will be his only stepping stone until the finals. Travers upset to Carparco in the semis this weekend gives him a real tough draw; however he is completely capable of knocking off Burke of Pinkerton, NH-1. After that Jake Savoca of Daniel Hand, CT-2 will give him a run as well as the winner of CJ Doherty Meuthen, MA-1 V. Tyler White MAU, VT-1. This is one of weight classes in RI that really matches up well with the tougher competition in NE.
152-
I believe here Jerrell is the only RI placer to make some noise. I'd say the same for Carlsten however Casey Mitchell South Windsor, CT-4 wrestles pretty much the same style as Cumberland wrestlers and just as well. And if he moves on he'll face the bracket favorite Ryan Niven, Tyngsboro, MA-1. Jerrell will be tested tough with a first round match most likely against Lucas Muntz, Conard, CT-2 however I believe his next big bout will be his semis against Marcoux-Shaefer MAU, VT-1.
160-
I believe Schmeider and Gallagher both have great potential to make it to the semis if not, still place. If they do however they will be well tested by Jacob Strait of Pathfinder, MA-1, and Tyler Cunningham Xavier, CT-1 respectively.
170-
Hurst has been successful all year after a big leap. His sole hiccup in the Lowell Finals was that not of size but I think of the way he wrestled the match. Here however the boys get bigger and stronger. I believe he is a definite for semifinals but Chris Chorpeza of Newington, CT-1 is a big boy and wrestles well. If he makes it to the finals I believe he'll see Will Henson of Barnstable, MA-1.
182-
Salois WV will beat everyone in this bracket handily, except Devon Carrillo of Middletown, CT-1. And the worst part is they'll square off in the semis, a match that should be a finals. Massotti of NP I don't will make too much noise here; Bryan Giblin of Triton, MA-2 is a very solid wrestler and most likely will win there.
195-
For it being such a small weight class at states it’s one of our more solid ones in terms of 1,2,3 in our state. I think all three has possibility of placing here. I see them running into each other down low in the conselations especially because of all of their bad draws. LaCroix will have a quarterfinal matchup with Trindade of Billerica, MA-1 who has demolished everyone this year he's faced. Smith will Brandon Riggins of Norwalk, CT-1 in the championship 16 who has also had no kink in his step all season. Lastly, Neff will see Spencer Foucher, MAU, VT-1 who has also been ripping up competition all year. A great trio for us to bring to NE's so good luck!
220-
I am not very educated in the 220 weight this year. However I believe Zambrano does have what it takes to pull off a medal, I am not even familiar with out of state names here sorry.
285-
This is the scariest I've seen 285 in a while, especially in terms of early matchups. Sturgis lucked out with RI-2 and has a great chance of using his size to push his way to the semis. Steven Dwight of Manchester Memorial, NH-1 has been a monster all year and will see Joe Demichele of Daniel Hand, CT-1 in the quarters who is the returning NE champ I believe. On the other side Johan has his hands full with Brendan Battle-Santos of Nauset, MA-1 who was runner up at 215 last year and is as athletic and fit as a heavy gets. After that he'll see Jesse Webb of MAU, VT-1.
My predictions are very straight forward. I'm very critical of what's on paper. Yes upsets happen but if it goes all according to plan this is what you can expect from this weekend’s wrestling extraganza!
Also there were many other names around NE's that I did not mention; I just did this predictions on our guys from RI.
