I hope this reaches someone who is able to address this or pass on to those that they feel can help. As a parent I was amazed at the charge/charges of admition this weekend. I myself paid 22 dollars. With that being said I feel that the RI Wrestling Association should make a donation.
The coaches, parents, and kids of Riverside and EP are desperately trying to raise 106k to keep Middle School sports running, due to the recent cut of the sports program. I know this was a HS event, but those Middle School children will, one day, be in HS. In my 10 years of wrestling I have seen the children of EP and Riverside, 1st in youth, then in Middle, and now in HS.
