In separate matches this weekend Mt. Anthony (VT) showed why they are the top-ranked team in New England with a 55-6 win over Hendricken and a 66-9 defeat of Coventry. See the attached articles for a pretty vivid description of the Hendricken match, while the Coventry score is a footnote in a weekend dual series in which Mt. A only lost five bouts total in five matches. Kudos though to these RI teams for scheduling Mt Anthony, which takes on Connecticut No. 1 Danbury tonight. It appears that BH won at 106 (Davol or Celico?) and 220 (Stewart?). Does anyone know who won for Coventry? Attachments:

I believe Christian Bottella won by pin and Dylan Dupre by decision.
Mt Anthony is a very talented team.

Well, Danbury beat Mt Anthony Union 33-26 on Monday in Danbury. I figured Danbury would give them a good match, but was a little surprised they won, against what looked like MA's full line-up. Below is a link to the local newspaper story: www.newstimes.com/sports/article/Danbury-wrestling-tops-Mt-Anthony-Union-Vt-in-3088780.phpBTW, Danbury won a series of duals this past weekend, including beating Exeter-West Greenwich 63-14. EWG winners were the two Labries and Tavaris against Danbury's back-up heavyweight. Of interest was the 195 match where Hancock pinned Neff. Lacroix of Cumberland had pinned Hancock in the finals of the Sanford (ME) Redman Tournament. Danbury finished second to Timberlane (NH) at the Redman.
