what I know: Altieri beat O'Connell and won it all, and O'Connell lost in consi finals to second string hendi. 113 Alvarez is an animal, played with his opponents. I believe Jerrell and him were in the finals 120 Collicci vs Keene in the finals, did not see the end result but they both dominated on their way to the finals 126 Vicente and Keene swept thru to the finals 132 With Burrows and Serge on opposite ends of the bracket, the finals were already determined 138 Ribezzo won consi finals over nelson who beat Abatacola to get there. Labrie locked it up though for the finals 145 was an intense day. First carparco beat kervin in ot and then lost to labrie in ot. Going to be an interesting state tournament at 145. 152 Jerrell pinned his way to the finals with no one really in his way. EWG's 152 looked very good. 160 What a weight class. Gallagher, rubio, lewis, schmeidner, and ferriari. It came down to gallagher and schmeidner in the finals. Good match. Ferriari and lews I believe were in consi finals. 170 Hurst looked it up all day with O'dowd sitting out because of his wrist. 182 Salios is going to repeat and do damage in New Englands. Conley looked out of it all day. Don't know what this means for him 195 Smith is an animal. He dominated Neff the whole match. I think he had 4 takedowns to neff's 1. However, if neff keeps working on those legs and keeps his head up when he throws them in no one will stop him 220 Caparco, Winn, and Pires were there. I do not know how everything ended up 285 No one is stopping auriellio in state and possibly at new englands. He pinned in the finals (connecticut kid). He has some great hips for a kid that size. Beuarguard got third over redmond

Altieri beat O'Connell and left with an injured elbow forfeiting the championship match. Celico beat O'connell in their second match of the day and was supposed to wrestle in the finals in Altieries place but the Glastonbury coach decided at the last minute not to give him the shot seeing Celico teched the finalists brother earlier in the day.

Just looked at the brackets, and looked like a tough tournament overall, Glastonbury coming down definitely made it alittle tougher.

I'm gonna assume it's a typo and Nefft didn't pin hurst in :02 lol, considering you need to be flat for 2 seconds to call a pin.

By rule Celico wouldn't of been allowed to wrestle after his consi finals match due to the 5 match rule, which allows a 6th match(which he wrestled) provided total time wrestled doen't exceed 27 minutes.

As a former wrestler I hate that rule. I know it's for our health, but how can you tell a kid who just wrestled his butt off to get back to the medal rounds and tell him he can't wrestle one more time

Considering the finalist's brother only went 2-2 and didn't place, I highly doubt that was the reason the match didn't take place. Celico wrestled well, but don't try to over hype the situation.

Turavoc is no slouch everyone. He's a very tough kid, and just because his brother gets teched doesn't mean he does haha

albert seiser the 133 from middletown wrestleed 7 matches so............................................ So......what are we 7 lol? OK 1 got past the golie, maybe because of the DQ in his 1st match (which doesn't qualify). I wasn't looking for wrestlers to get thrown under the bus, I was explaining what the rule is, and the possible reason why he didn't wrestle the exibition against Turovac. As for the coach not wanting to because of an earlier match makes no sense, since Turovac couldn't lose 1st place, it would only of been an exibition match and the places would of remained 1-2-3, IMO It takes away from a wrestler when you insinuate that they or their coach were scared to wrestle another.
