D 2 loaded with talent this year. I would like to compare this to years past but do not have the time to research it.

Seedingpro has done this several times, this is probably the strongest it's been since 2007/2008 when Vets was in D2 and there were 22 teams all in D2 and only 10 in D1. For a couple years D2 had more finalists.

Is it still a true 2nd like 2 years ago ? No need for it any more. It needed to be a true double to 2nd because you couldn't seed it properly (a/c side didn't wrestle b/d side), now with all teams wrestling you can seed it as a true 1-16 with byes going to highest seeds of unfilled brackets.

If I remember correctly 07-08 had 10 out of 14 champs from D2..this was also the year that the smallest school placed 4th at States!

For a couple years D2 had more finalists. Its gonna be a good year but in no way even in the same league as that year. Not only did they have 10 of 14 more than half the medals went to D2 that year. This year I see maybe 5, 4 definite champs, and unlike that year where those weight classes were 2-3 wrestlers deep this year has 1 wrestler and in some 2 deep.

138 - the top three are in their own category but there is a mixture for 4th seed...borsay is a quality wrestler but reed from narr and/or martinez tg deserve to be up there
