I heard the Labree's are bulking up to 152 and 160 they just wrestled at nutmeg 10/2/11 at 148 and 142 so as of now they are 152 and 145 |

106 will be very difficult to predict just yet, alot of upperclass man will be cutting down to that weight to avoid Alteiri and Alvarez, I think AJ Collum from CE, and A new comer to RI wrestling from Moses Brown a freshman by the name of Andrew Howard, will be amongst the top dogs along with Davol, and O'Connell.

Kaitlyn will be at 106 also and so won't Alteiri so yes 106 will be interesting

We need more input on this forum. Look at the Mass. & Conn. forums and see how much discussion is going on. Wrestlers from all schools know whereabouts every wrestler is going. Lets get something going here and start to enjoy the season.

Labries would be healthy and unstopable at 145 & 152. And do damage in the NE's.

You really must be from south county.... Not to take anything away from the Labries they are excellent young wrestlers but one beating Travers? And the other beating Jerrell who trains with them at Mayo I am not so certain. I think they will do better at 138 and 145 and both could be in finals. Thomas has a good shot but I think would struggle against Burrows or Vicente if they are there. Cant see Conley or Odowd beating Salois. Smith is tough but I see him struggling with Lacroix if he gets down to this weight.

The beauty of the sport is that mentality is equal with physicality. The Labrie kids have a wrestlers mentality. O' Dowd took a year off and is probably hungry. Conley is an All-State football player. All of these factors will make any prediction nothing more than a wild a** guess. I wouldn't 't surprise me if all three of these guys end up state champs.

No it's hard to predict lots of things , but we can make good assumptions. Salois returning state champ, Conley 6th chances are Rubio (Tolman) who beat him will also be at this weight. Have football all-states even been selected? Plus there have been tons of all state football players not to win state championships. If a kid wasnt"hungry" enough to complete last season why would one assume he would be "hungrier" this year.
Just observations. I agree that both of them along with both Labries will be very competitive this season and will most likely see all of them in finals

the way it looks is 160 and 170 are up for grabs with salois at 182 and jerell at 152 i think you will see some move away from them and go there.
160 Ziobro Mt.H is favored but schmeider wv can also win it . would not be surprised to see Gelardi BH in this mix. where is King CW he wrestled 145 last year if he is here he would also be in it
170 ODowd SK or Connelly SK would be favored with Hurst WV and Galagher Narr is Cash NP at 170 he wrestled it last year
