I would look into the force linked between the Knee and Hip movement. Measure the amount of force that is supplied by the wrestler rotating/driving from end of penetration step back to his feat... that way you can tell how much force is involved in lifting an opponent off of his feat. idk just a few ideas.

When you say physics, are you talking about forces like gravity that apply or are you talking about the mechanical forces at play in taking an opponent down? If it is the latter, than you need research on biomechanics and, to a lesser extent, kinesiology (study of human movement). I have included some links to biomechanics in wrestling that should prove to be immensely helpful, however, make sure you do some additional research to sufficiently explain what is meant by torque, isometric position, etc. that applicable here. So, pick up a textbook through a library or even buy an online version on basic biomechanics (probably designed for freshman or sophomores in college) and possibly kinesiology, but I would check to see how the biomechanics research goes first. www.ucancoachwrestling.com/links/Biomechanics/Presentation_Files/index.htmlw4.ub.uni-konstanz.de/cpa/article/viewFile/3425/3224w4.ub.uni-konstanz.de/cpa/article/viewFile/2214/2071www.swe.org/iac/LP/index.html
