Story
Cumberland won the battle of Division I wrestling powerhouses as the unbeaten Clippers handed Cranston West its first loss of the season, 35-28, it a matchup of two teams that have combined to win the past six state championships. Cumberland is now 10-0 while Cranston West falls to 9-1. Cody Beaudette highlighted the win for Cumberland, upsetting Katelyn Bouyssou - her first loss of the season - 2-1 at 103 pounds. Brandon Ferreri won by pin in 1:43 at 171 pounds to put Cumberland ahead for good and Josh Delannoy sealed the victory with a 6-4 win at heavyweight in the final match.
