Cavanagh is a senior, he didn't wrestle freshmen or sophmore year due to injuries. He didnt place at sectionals last year so didnt move on to states. Last year he was 160 this year he's 152

rosario, what does that have to do with anything. Cavanagh is tough kid, never puts it together on mat though oin consistent basis. Lot of talent though . I think he listens to his brothers to much. He is a good kid with tough wrestlers body, just needs to do it. What does it matter if he was out two years on and off..... he has been wrestling since he was a little kid. No need for excuses - he is tough and can beat a lot of people, he just falls into lapse now and then. Hope he does well rest of year.

Cavanagh is one of my good friends and also on my team. "summertime" asked if anyone had any background info on him and i gave him some, i know cavanagh's potential and it is definately top in the state. the kid is good i know he is i practice with him everyday.

tell him this then rosario, tell him to listen to his coaches - Boudreau actually - and make a goal and wrestle one style., Stop listening to his brothers coaching from the stands and mat, That is the problem, he has talent and is good, but listens to them more than his coach. You guys have a good one in Boudreau - listen to him

i tell him all the time he knows it, but once he's in the match it all goes out of his head..Boudreau is fun to roll around with, he's good for us. In the room Cavanagh wrestles with technique and uses to strength to an advantage, but in matches he uses his strength to try and muscle kids
