While I agree, I think it was just a strategy move at the time. If LaSalle could have countered giving up 6 at 45 with getting 6 at 52, that would have helped in a close match. Now, as it turned out, the match wasn't very close and they didn't even get 6 at 52, but I understand why they would do that.
Just by looking at the box score you can't necessarily say that Lafferty dodged Farrell. For all we know, he could have wanted to wrestle him, but unfortunately the team strategy is ultimately the coach's decision.

instead of losing at 45 and 52 they pick up a win at 52 seems like a good move to me.

you have to do that move, it was the 3rd and 4th match of the night. scores in wrestling can be misleading. if you go from pinning to getting pinned thats a 12 point swing.

Yes they are. Big turnaround from the early season dual meet disappointment of losing to an average Ponagansett team. I am intrigued by their matchup with Westerly tomorrow night however. I expect it to be a close one in the end. Probably will come down to less than a 10 point margin, which means every match will be important.
