Alvarez is the man to beat,he cannot be touched in RI..... Alvarez has missed a big part of the season. Is anyone sure he can make weight for 113? Don't get me wrong, I know he is a great wrestler, but we haven't seen him seen him wrestle yet this season. Maybe he grew since last year.

yes brisdon will be challenge. kirkgard and monserrat wont be. alveraz will be either 1st or 2nd in new englands Don't count Kirkegard out. His length makes him look like a stick but I assure you he has great leverage and strength, not to mention he is very deadly with his legs. Also, Bridson looks deadly this year, his shot is so beautiful he has almost perfected that high crotch. I have yet to see Alverez is action this year but I can believe he's going to be a handful. Top three could go anyway

Overall of course Serge! I'd love to compile a list but I'm not one to count the chickens before they are hatched! After states I'd love to do a quick analysis on the top three at each weight class.

Alverez has worked real hard this off season and has a good shot at a New England title. All four do. All four worked hard this off season, so in my opinion it's anyones tournament. It's all about who shows up that day.

I've noticed that Alverez hasn't been wrestling for at least a few weeks. Why is that... illness? D2 sectionals are next week.
