A freshman Colby Vital from BH just beat the 145lb #7 aiden clarke at Noble Invitational he also got the OW kid looks pretty good. Perez from pono took ellis into ot. He will make some noise at new englands. And so wont Joey joyce he looks phenomenal. Some exciting freshman this year

Well the timeline is reversed. Max's most recent New England rankings came out on Dec. 26 then Vital beat Clarke on Dec. 28, in the quarterfinals at Noble, ME. Not sure why Clarke was moved from 145 to 152 in the latest rankings, but I think what it underscores is how much tougher the 145 class is in NE this year compared to 152. You have two NE champs in Gabe and Jack Richardson of Killingly, CT and a 4th place winner in Hood all at 145. Meanwhile defending 152 titlist Iwanicki of St. Johns Prep, MA is up at 160 along with 3rd place winner Nicolosi of Haverhill, MA. So, there might be some more shifting to 152 by some competitors.

Understandable but were is jack Richardson hes not even in the top ten on maxs list

That's a good question. Richardson was ranked second to Bouyssou at 145 in Max's first NE ranking of the season and first in ConnWrestling's State Open initial rankings at 145 as well. Now ConnWrestling has Richardson first at 152 while Max Schwartz has put him third at 160 in NE behind champ Iwanicki and Reall, and ahead of two other New England placers, Nicholosi of MA and Bourjeli. That would be a LOT of talent at 160 and I suspect that one or more may drop. While Richardson won the Lancer tourney in Waterford at 160 lbs. on Dec. 17, I suspect he may find 152 at better fit.

Jack trains at MQ in the offseason and a bit during the season when he can. I believe Jack will go to 152 and he will be very difficult to stop. He would be a contender at whatever weight he goes That's a good question.
