I used the SRS rating system to calculate these rankings.  It's score based and a good predictor of how schools will perform at the state tournament.

That's actually something I want to do, the RIIL website has a lot of dual meet box scores I could use for data. It wouldn't be a complete data set because they don't have box scores for every dual meet and I wouldn't be using any tournament results but i'm definitely interested in doing it if I ever have a week free!

If you did that, and really should include tournaments, I think you would receive a lot of input from people that attended different events that were not included and could update it with that info. I think Mass had something like that 2 years ago and it included just about all of New England. I was looking for it again but cannot seem to find it. It was quite impressive. Again nice job on the team stats!!

These rankings are good for the top 10 or so teams at the state championship. A team like Moses Brown will most likely finish in the top 15 even though they only won one dual meet this year.
