haha. i would love to drag max or harry in with me. I have been training in NC where im living right now, its a whole different world here when it comes to wrestling. I should be back in RI March 14th Serge i will have to stop by the dojo to get a workout in

that doesnt mean u cant just come and workout every now and then. i miss wrestling more then anything else from high school. and i recall u saying u did too

For anyone who is interested in getting involved in URI wrestling now we received new information today regarding our first tournaments as well as mat times and practice times. If anyone is interested they can contact me, I'm avidly participating in trying to give URI wrestling its legs. I'll post contact info in response to this post

Maybe someone knows Jeff Buxton (Former head coach of Blair Academy), and could talk and convince him to come back to RI and get URI back on its wrestling feet ,he resigned from Blair Academy Earlier this year before season started. URI is his Alma Mater, he also won a national title while attending there, and he's probably one of the greatest wrestling coachs in u.s. history. I bet you'd have thousands of kids apply just to be trained by him again.
Just an Idea, thought I'd throw it out there.

This is a great thread. Wouldn't it be somthing to revive that program in a way to attract great wrestlers and put lil ol Rhody on the wrestling map!!

Really hope there will be a wrestling club for URI, I know a lot of upcoming freshman that are very interested also.
